The Oppo Find X5 Pro was unveiled today with a new chipset, new custom ISP, other camera improvements, bigger, faster battery, a ceramic back and more. It’s a lot to take in, but you can kick back and watch a few videos about the new flagship.
Let’s start with the official unboxing video. The phone supports the new 80W SuperVOOC charging setup and comes with the required power brick and USB-C cable out of the box. There’s also a protective case in there.
This video goes well beyond just the contents of the retail package, it also quickly goes through all the highlights and upgrades of the new flagship.
The next video does the same, but even quicker. From the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, through the custom MariSilicon X ISP chip to the 4K Ultra Night mode that it enables, plus other things like the 5-axis image stabilization (the first of its kind on mobile), just listing the new features takes over a minute.
The vanilla Oppo Find X5 has many of the same camera features as on the Pro, including the Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration and MariSilicon X chip. One feature it is missing is the ceramic back as crafting that is a long and arduous process. Here’s a quick peek at how that is achieved:
