Vivo X30 to have 64 MP main camera, 32 MP sensor for portrait shots

The vivo X30 is launching on December 16 with four cameras, and today we finally got to see what sensors are hiding behind the lenses. According to an official teaser, posted by vivo, the main shooter is 64 MP, while the other three were leaked by a trustful source on Weibo.

As advertised, the vivo X30 will have a dedicated portrait camera that could replicate the result of professional shots with a 50 mm lens, and the phone will do it with a 32 MP snapper. The ultra-wide-angle camera will be 8 MP, while the periscope cam is coupled with a 13 MP sensor.

The whole camera setup of the vivo X30 will have OIS and EIS, but we don’t know which module exactly will have both technologies. This leak sounds very spicy and intriguing, given the fact the vivo X30 will also support 60x digital zoom, mostly thanks to the “super-telephoto” periscope camera.

Up until now, the vivo account on social media was teasing only the back panel of the phone in sweet Red and Coral colors (there will be also White or Black variants for puritans), but today we also got to see the front – there is a punch-hole design in the upper right corner of the display. We already saw a leaked shot, but this is the first confirmation coming from an official source.

Other specs of the vivo X30 include the Exynos 980 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. We expected the OS to be renamed Jovi OS, but latest info is the software department decided to stick with the FuntouchOS naming for now.
