Vivo V70 5G and the Vivo V70 Elite 5G have been launched in India, both powered by 6500mAh batteries. The devices have Snapdragon processors under the hood and both of them feature triple rear camera systems paired with Zeiss optics. Here’s everything else to know about them.

Vivo V70 is available in two colour options – Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, and is priced at Rs 45,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version. The Vivo V70 Elite is available in three colour options – Passion Red, Sand Beige and Authentic Black, priced at Rs 51,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, Rs 56,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and Rs 61,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant.
Starting February 26, the vivo V70 and V70 Elite will be available across the vivo official website, Flipkart, Amazon, and all partner retail stores. Vivo V70 Elite 5G
The Vivo V70 Elite sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED Display with 1.5K resolution (2750 x 1260 pixels), HDR10+, 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 459 ppi, and 120Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits. The device has a 50MP f/2.0 selfie sensor with Autofocus support and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo V70 Elite is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Processor paired with up to 12GB RAM LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Android 16-based Origin OS 6 and will get 4 generations of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches.
For optics, the Vivo V70 Elite has a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT-700V sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS, LED flash, paired with an 8MP 115° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto camera with f/2.65 Aperture and OIS.
The device packs a 6500mAh battery with 90W Fast charging. It is also IP68 and IP69 rated and has stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio. The device also has an X-axis linear vibration motor. Vivo V70 5G sports the same display as the elite model. The Vivo V70 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For optics, you get an identical camera setup as the Elite model. It is backed by the same 6500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging. Additional features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, NFC, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and 5G.
The device runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and will get 4 generations of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches. It is also IP68 + IP69 rated. The Vivo V70 5G has a standard vibration motor, unlike the V70 Elite 5G’s X-axis linear motor. Further, the device does not have a colour temperature sensor which the Elite model packs.
