TTartisan unveils compact, lightweight 28mm F5.6 prime for Leica M mount cameras

TTartisan has announced the details of its new 28mm F5.6 lens for Leica M mount camera systems, a compact, lightweight prime.

The manual prime is constructed of seven elements in four groups, including two high-refractive index elements and a single low-dispersion element. Other features include a 37mm front filter thread, a 1m (3.4ft) minimum focusing distance and a six-blade aperture diaphragm.

The lens measures in at 51mm (2″) in diameter, 19mm (.7″) long and weighs in at 151g (5.3oz). TTartisan hasn’t mentioned how much the lens will cost, nor its exact release date. We have contacted TTartisan for these details and will update the article accordingly when we have them. In the meantime, you can keep an eye out for updates on the TTartisan website.
