Toyota launches the C-HR+ in Europe as its longest-range EV with up to 607 km

The new C-HR+ arrives in Europe as Toyota’s longest-range electric vehicle, with a WLTP range of up to 607 km (377 miles).

The Toyota C-HR+ EV goes on sale in Europe

Toyota began customer deliveries of the new C-HR+, an electric successor to the gas-powered model, across Europe.

The new EV builds on Toyota’s iconic crossover SUV, featuring an all-electric powertrain, updated styling, and modern tech.

Thanks to its sleek new coupe-SUV silhouette and Toyota’s latest EV battery tech, the C-HR+ delivers up to 607 km (377 miles) of WLTP range, the longest range in its lineup.

The C-HR+ is available with two battery options: 57.7 kWh and 77 kWh, providing WLTP ranges of up to 458 km and 607 km, respectively. That’s for the front-wheel-drive (FWD) models; the all-wheel-drive (AWD) version, available exclusively with the 77 kWh battery, has a range of up to 548 km.

Using a 150 kW DC fast charger, Toyota’s newest EV can recharge from 10% to 80% in about 28 minutes. Even at temperatures as low as -10°C, it will take less than 30 minutes with battery pre-conditioning, Toyota said.

Outside of its GR sports cars, the new AWD C-HR+ EV is among Toyota’s most powerful in Europe, packing a combined 343 hp (252 kW) and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.2 seconds.

Like its latest electric vehicles, the C-HR+ features Toyota’s new hammerhead design and grille-less face, giving it a clean, modern-day look.

While it’s about 6″ shorter than the bZ4X, the C-HR+ offers about the same interior space with generous leg room and rear passenger headroom.

The interior features Toyota’s latest cabin design with a 7″ driver display cluster and 14″ infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A six-speaker audio system is standard, while a nine-speaker JBL Premium Audio setup is available as an option.

The Toyota C-HR is available in Europe in three grades: Mid, Mid+, and High. The standard Mid features a FWD powertrain and 57.7 kWh battery, while the Mid+ is offered in FWD or AWD; both feature a 77 kWh battery.

The range-topping High Grade is offered exclusively with an AWD powertrain and 77 kWh battery, boasting a towing capacity of 1,500 kg (3,300 lbs).

While prices vary by market, the new C-HR+ starts at €38,990 ($45,000) in Germany, with leases available from €295 ($341) per month.

In the US, the C-HR+ is on sale as just the C-HR. The 2026 Toyota C-HR EV starts at $37,000 and offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 290 miles.

The new electric SUV joins the updated bZ4X and bZ Woodland in Toyota’s US electric vehicle lineup. In Europe, Toyota offers the new bZ4X, C-HR+, and Urban Cruiser electric SUVs.

With the new electric SUVs arriving at dealerships, Toyota is already offering up to $7,000 off and 0% APR financing to sweeten the deal.
