The Samsung Galaxy S11e will have 5G connectivity and fast charging

The Samsung Galaxy S11e – SM-G9810 – will have 5G connectivity, according to the 3C certification papers. This year only the premium Galaxy S10 5G got that honor, but it seems that next year things will be different.

The more affordable “e” model will also support 25W fast charging, up from 15W on the S10e. This is based on USB Power Delivery (with PPS support), which means you’ll have a wide selection of compatible chargers to choose from.

The other 2019 S phones, the Galaxy S11 and S11+, will also stick with 25W wired charging, meaning that if you want a Samsung with 45W charging, the Galaxy Note10+ may be your only option. Like this year, the Galaxy S11e may be a few cameras short, however – at least that’s what we see in the renders.
