The Nokia 8000 4G and 6300 4G are now available for pre-order in Russia

HMD’s latest KaiOS-powered phones, the Nokia 6300 and 8000, are now available for pre-order in Russia. The company was a bit vague with the availability dates and other regional Nokia stores still show the duo as coming soon.

Anyway, while the Nokia 8000 4G appears to be the most premium of the re-imagined devices, it’s not the most expensive. It can be yours for RUB 7,500 (€83.2). That is a bit less than the 2720 Flip, for example, which is the only other KaiOS Nokia with a 2.8” screen – the rest have 2.4” screens instead.

The Nokia 6300 4G offers the same functionality and can be had for RUB 5,000 (€55.5). This does make it the most affordable KaiOS Nokia of the bunch. Like the others, this one offers WhatsApp and Google’s Maps and Assistant, plus a 4G connection with a Wi-Fi hotspot option.

The major difference between the two new models is that the 8000 has a 2 MP camera while the 6300 gets an antique VGA sensor. That and the 8000 has a sleeker look (but it’s just that, a look, both are made of plastic).
