The Nokia 6.1 receives Android 10, its second major OS update

The Nokia 6.1 was unveiled nearly two years ago almost to the day – instead of cake, HMD is serving up an Android 10 update for the phone. This comes just a couple of days after the Nokia 6.1 Plus got the update. You can check HMD’s full update roadmap for other Nokia models.

The V4.10C update has a security patch of December 2019. It’s a hefty download of nearly 1.5GB so you better settle in. The update is already seeding in India and Pakistan, judging by the replies to the Tweet announcing its arrival.
