Sony Xperia 5 V is now on sale

If you’re old enough, you remember the times when Sony used to have a multiple-month gap between a phone’s announcement and its release, but that’s definitely not been the case this time around with the Xperia 5 V.

The device was made official by the Japanese company at the beginning of this month, and guess what – it’s already available to order. You can buy one in Germany from Amazon for €999.

Sony Xperia 5 V is now on sale

The handset’s shipping date keeps changing on the Amazon listing, but at the latest you’ll get it delivered to your door on Monday. If you can’t wait that long, you can purchase one from Sony’s own online store or Saturn – both of these promise delivery within a couple of days.

In case you need a reminder about its specs: the Sony Xperia 5 V comes with a 6.1-inch 1080×2520 120 HZ OLED screen, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset at the helm, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a 48 MP main camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide, no dedicated telephoto camera, a 12 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging support. It runs Android 13.
