After completing testing, Samsung’s One UI 3.0 update is now live and is already rolling out with the Android 11 update for the Galaxy S20 family. You can check the schedule for when the other eligible devices will get the latest version. What’s new in One UI 3.0?
The interface has been redesigned to be more aesthetically pleasing, to improve concentration and make everything easy to customize to your tastes and needs.
Lock screen widgets offer quick access to basic functions and information like controlling the music player and checking your agenda for the day. You can reduce the opacity of widgets on the home screen, so you can enjoy more of your wallpaper.

One UI 3.0 allows you to reorganize various shortcuts so that what you want is always a tap away. You can reorder the quick toggles as well as the share sheet (including pinning the most used sharing options).
There are separate work and personal profiles, so you can have different shortcut arrangements. For example, you want your work contacts in the share sheet while at the office. Then, in the evening, they should be replaced with friends and family, the Dark mode toggle should be easy to reach too.

The camera leverages AI smarts to improve image quality when zooming in. Photos edited in the gallery can be reverted back to their original state. Also, while viewing a photo, the app will suggest related images to continue your walk down memory lane.
The new well-being applications will help you identify bad habits by showing week to week changes of (for example) how long you’ve used the phone or how often you check it while driving.
Android 11 with One UI 3.0 is rolling out today for the Galaxy S20 series (sans the FE) in the US, South Korea and most of Europe. This update will expand to other regions and other devices soon. The flagship devices are getting it, of course, as are select A-series and M-series models. Check the schedule for more details.
