Samsung pushes September security update for Galaxy A80, Galaxy S8 series and Galaxy A5 (2017)

Samsung has begun seeding the September security patch to several more devices ranging from the fairly new Galaxy A80 to some older units like the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy S8 and S8+.

The new update comes under the A805FXXS2ASI2 name for the A80 in Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, Paraguay, Panama, Mexico and India. The Galaxy A5 (2017)’s update bears the A520FXXUBCSI1 build and is live in Croatia,Russia,Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The S8/S8+ update comes under version G95*FXXS5DSI1 and is available across Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Bolivia.

If you have any of these three devices laying around you can simply head to the software update menu in the settings and check for the new firmware.
