The Samsung Galaxy F22 is finally official in India. The Korean maker decided to relaunch the Galaxy A22 under a new name for the Asian market with two of the three possible memory combinations. Key specs include a Helio G80 chipset, four cameras, and a Super AMOLED display.
The Samsung Galaxy F22 differs from the Galaxy A22 by the wavy design of the back panel, as well as the color options, which in this case are Black and Blue. You are still getting a 48MP main camera and and an 8MP ultrawide module though along with the two 2MP auxilary sensors. At the front there’s 13MP selfie camera.
There is a massive 6,000 mAh battery on the inside, which is the Galaxy F22’s key claim to fame.
The 6.4″ Super AMOLED display only has HD+ resolution but offers 90Hz refresh rate. And the F22 being an affordable phone above all the fingerprint scanner is placed on the power key on the side rather than below the panel.
The Galaxy F22 is sold in 4/64GB or 6/128GB RAM/storage options, and in either case you can add more storage through the dedicated microSD slot. There’s also enough room for two SIM cards. Prices on Flipkart are INR12,499 ($170/€140) or INR14,499 ($195/€165), and availability is scheduled for July 13.
