Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gets Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update

Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) last month, and now it’s the 2020 model that’s getting a taste of Android 13 and One UI 5.0.

The update is rolling out for the LTE model (SM-P615) and has firmware version P615XXU4FWA5. It comes with a new taskbar for the tablet and improves multi-tasking. The update also brings a refreshed lock screen customization menu and performance optimization to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

However, the One UI 5.0 update comes with the dated November 2022 security patch when some Samsung devices have already started receiving the January 2023 security patch.

Besides, the update is currently only seeding in France, but the rollout should expand to other countries soon. The Wi-Fi model (SM-P610) should also receive One UI 5.0 soon.

If you live in France and haven’t received One UI 5.0 on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to the tablet’s > menu.
