Samsung Galaxy S23 FE rumored to launch in H2 2023

Samsung decided to skip out on the Galaxy S22 FE last year due to ongoing chip shortage and increased demand for its flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra. A new report from South Korean news outlet suggests the Fan Edition series is due for a return in 2023 with the Galaxy S23 FE launching around the August/September period.

The Galaxy FE series garnered popularity with the Galaxy S20 FE back in 2020 with over 10 million shipments that year alone. Following up such a well-received device is hard and the Galaxy S21 FE did not do so well which made Samsung reconsider its FE lineup releases going forward.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE rumored to launch in H2 2023

Based on the new report, Samsung will skip the Galaxy A74 and will instead focus on launching the S23 FE in more markets. Samsung is trying to reshape it’s Galaxy A-series portfolio and the A7-series will likely be cut. The upcoming FE phone will launch with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy or 2022’s top dog Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
