The Galaxy S22 series is expected to debut in the second week of February and more rumors are coming to life as we inch closer to that time frame. The latest bit comes from which reports the S22 and S22+ will stick to 10MP selfie cameras. This means the same resolution as the S21 and S20 models and their plus counterparts as well as the S10 series dating back in 2019.
Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly carry a 40MP selfie shooter which matches the S21 Ultra and the S20 Ultra that precede it. In terms of the rear camera modules, the S22 and S22+ are reportedly getting an upgrade to 50MP primary lenses alongside new 10MP telephoto modules with 3x zoom. As for the S22 Ultra, rumors have it the changes will be minor with a slightly improved 108MP main shooter alongside the same 12MP ultrawide camera and new smaller Sony sensors for the 10MP 3x telephoto and 10MP periscope cameras.
