Samsung is rolling out an update for the Galaxy Wearable app with an empty changelog – or rather a redacted one. This version of the app adds support for the Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic, as well as the Galaxy Buds2. Of course, Samsung doesn’t want you to know that yet.
Samsung Galaxy Buds2 in all five colors
As part of the update, the app can now display images of the Buds2 in all five colors. The app confirms that Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) will be supported, though it seems to be a more basic version compared to the Galaxy Buds Pro since the ANC levels (low and high) are missing. 360 Audio is missing too. This could just be an oversight in the app, of course, since Buds2 support seems to be in beta.
Anyway, the app reports that each bud has a 61 mAh battery while the case has a 472 mAh battery. Those are the exact same numbers as the Buds Pro, so you can expect similar battery life (20 hours of total listening time with ANC on, 28 hours with it off).

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t reveal much about the Galaxy Watch4 pair. Not that there’s much left to reveal – Amazon Canada did most of the work, plus we have some details on the performance improvements of the Exynos 920 chipset that will power the watches (it will be hooked up to double the storage to boot).
