Samsung Galaxy Buds Beyond certified at 3C, battery capacity revealed

Samsung is expected to launch new pair of TWS earphones called Galaxy Buds Beyond. Judging by the fancy name, they could be a follow-up of the Galaxy Buds Live and might hit the stage on January 14 when the Galaxy S21 lineup is expected.

The new TWS product was spotted on CCC (China Compulsory Certification, also known as 3C) where it was certified, revealing the battery capacity of 472 mAh.

This capacity is exactly the same as the Galaxy Buds Live, which is another suggestion Beyond could be just an update over the Live. The model number is another clue we have – the previous earphones were EB-BR170ABU, and these are EB-BR190ABY.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Beyond sure look like the successor of the Galaxy Buds Live but given the small amount of info we have on the new buds, we shouldn’t be surprised to see an entirely new design – for example an earbud with a stem or a different kind of rubber/plastic hook.
