Samsung Galaxy A80 gets autofocus for selfies with new update

The Samsung Galaxy A80 announced back in April doesn’t have a camera on the front and uses the 48MP rear camera for selfies and video calls. However, this main sensor locks the focus at a certain distance when used for capturing selfies. Well, to fix this issue, Samsung has released a software update which brings in the autofocus function for selfies.

Additionally, the new firmware carries July 2019 security patch and comes with improvements to the stability of the camera and device security.

This update, weighing around 400MB in size and bearing version number A805FXXU2ASG7, is rolling out over the air but you can also install it on your device via Samsung’s Smart Switch software.
