The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G (SM-A725F/DS) we’ve been hearing about for a long time has moved a step closer to launch as it has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC.

The listing on the Thai certifying authority’s website doesn’t include any specs of the Galaxy A72 4G, but a recent leak revealed its design and full specifications.

According to that leak, the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM. The smartphone will run Android 11 out of the box and have two storage options – 128GB and 256GB. It will also have a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

The Galaxy A72 4G will sport a 6.7″ FullHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath and a punch hole in the center for the 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone’s rear panel will house a 64MP primary camera joined by a 12MP ultrawide, 8MP telephoto, and 2MP macro units.

The A72 4G’s base model with 128GB storage is rumored to cost €449 in Europe, whereas the 256GB variant is said to cost €509.
