So far, Samsung has only launched one 5G capable mid-range smartphone in India, the Galaxy M42 5G, but that is about to change soon.
The Korean company has apparently started working on firmware development for a version of the Galaxy A52 5G that is destined for India. This will have the model number SM-A526B.
The 4G model of the A52 is already available in the subcontinent starting at INR 26,499. For the 5G model, expect to pay around INR 5,000 more, as you are getting a higher refresh rate screen, a better chipset, and obviously that improved wireless connectivity with future-proofing built-in for when 5G networks will be all across India.
As a quick refresher, the Galaxy A52 5G has a 6.5-inch 120 Hz Super AMOLED display, the Snapdragon 750G SoC, and a quad rear camera system identical to that of the A52 non-5G – as are the rest of the specs too.
