Samsung Galaxy A52 4G passes through Geekbench with Snapdragon 720G

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G bearing model designation SM-A526B was spotted on Geekbench last month with a Snapdragon 750G SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 11. Now the 4G variant (SM-A525F) has popped up in the benchmark’s database, which is powered by the Snapdragon 720G chipset, runs Android 11 and has 8GB RAM onboard.

The 4G model scored higher than its 5G counterpart in both the single and multi-core tests, but these are likely pre-production devices, and you can expect differences in performance on retail units.

It’s currently unclear if there will be any other differences between the 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy A52 aside from the chipset and RAM amount. And while we wait for an official word from Samsung about the A52, renders of the A52 5G that leaked last week revealed what the phone will look like.

The A52 5G will pack a 6.5″ screen with a punch hole in the center for the selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for password-less unlocking. Around the back, you’ll get a quad camera setup housed inside a rectangular island with LED flash.

The Galaxy A52 5G will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and will be 10mm thick (8.4mm without the camera bump). We don’t know how heavy the A52 5G will be, but the leak claimed it will have a plastic back, with the frame made out of metal.
