Samsung Galaxy A50s gets One UI 2.5 with November security patch

Samsung released One UI 2.5 for the Galaxy A51 last month and now it’s the Galaxy A50s’s turn to receive the One UI 2.5 update.

The new firmware is based on Android 10 and bumps up the Android security patch level on the Galaxy A50s to November 2020 in addition to bringing new features to the smartphone, like SOS functionality for Messages, Bitmoji support for Always-On Display, and an improved camera experience to name a few.

The One UI 2.5 update has version number A507FNXXU5CTK3 and is currently only seeding in Vietnam, but should expand to more countries soon.

If you live in Vietnam, you should receive an OTA on your A50s in a week or two, but if you don’t want to wait for the update notification to pop up on your phone, you can head over to the > menu to check for it manually.
