Samsung silently launched its latest Galaxy A-series members with the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both new phones feature 6.7-inch LCDs with HD+ resolution on the A05 and FHD+ resolution on the A05s. There’s a 13MP front facing cam on the A05s tucked inside a waterdrop notch and an 8MP shooter on the A05.

The big difference comes in the chipset department, where the A05s is equipped with the Snapdragon 680 while the A05 gets MediaTek’s Helio G85. Both phones come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD.

Both phones share the same 50MP main camera (f/1.8) alongside a 2MP depth helper but the A05s also gets a 2MP macro shooter. There are 5,000 mAh batteries on both phones with support for 25W charging. The software side is covered by OneUI Core based on Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy A05 comes in Black, Light Green and Silver colors while the and A05s is also offered in Violet. Pricing and availability details are not shared yet but we should see more info in the coming days.
