Samsung Android 10 beta to go out to Galaxy Note10 and S10 in October

Now that Google has officially released Android 10, owners of Android devices made by other companies are naturally wondering when to expect the new version to hit their phones. In the past, Samsung has been anything but fast when it comes to such releases, but that may (slightly) change this year.

According to “sources who have a solid track record”, the company is going to announce its beta program for the Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note10 and S10 families by the end of the month. Then, the first beta build is going to go out in October in the US and some European countries.

If we go by past antics, expect there to be quite a few different beta builds before the final release arrives, but even so there’s probably a solid chance you’ll see Android 10 in non-beta form on your 2019 Samsung flagship by the end of this year.

In 2018, Samsung opened up the beta for the Galaxy S9’s Pie update in November, with the first stable build being released on December 24. If everything is planned in a similar fashion, then maybe this time around we’ll see that in early December, if not even earlier.

Obviously though do take this with a pinch of salt as it’s just one unconfirmed report for now, even if the sources have been reliable in the past.
