Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series India launch has been confirmed by the brand shortly after the global debut of the devices. This comes after the brand launched the vanilla Redmi Note 15 5G in India earlier this month. The exact date of launch has also been leaked by a tipster.
Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G Series India Launch: What to Expect?
According to Redmi India’s website, the new Note series phones are “coming soon.” However, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series India launch date was revealed by tipster Yogesh Brar on X, confirming the devices will debut on January 27 in India. He also revealed that they’ll be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000 in the country.
The devices have already launched in China a few months back while the global launch took place on January 15. It is rumoured that the Indian model’s specifications will match that of the global models, so one can expect what is to come under the hood of the two Pro models.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G (Global Variant)

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K Resolution AMOLED Display with a Refresh Rate of 120Hz, Dolby Vision, 12-bit colours, 3200 nits peak brightness, 447 ppi, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and HDR10+ support. It is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The device is equipped with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC under the hood, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes with up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a dual camera setup with a 200MP f/1.7 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor. The smartphone also has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera. In comparison, the Chinese variant has a triple rear camera setup where there’s an additional telephoto sensor but an inferior primary sensor. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ packs a 6500mAh battery and comes with 100W Fast charging support. Again, the Chinese model has a better 7000mAh cell with slightly slower 90W charging.
Additional features include X-Axis Linear Haptics Motor, IR Blaster, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and a USB-C port for charging. The device runs on Hyper OS 2 based on Android 15 and will get 3 years of OS updates with 4 years of security patches. There’s an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security and the handset is IP66 + IP68+ IP69 + IP69K rated also.
