Redmi Note 15 5G has been launched in India alongside the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. This is the first device from the Note 15 series to launch in India and is coming after a gap of a year since the last Note series was debuted in the country. The company also launched the Redmi Pad 2 Pro and the Pad 2 Pro 5G alongside the Note 15 5G.
Redmi Note 15 5G: Price, Availability, Specifications
The Redmi Note 15 5G is priced at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB trim and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It comes in Glacier Blue, Mist Purple, and Black shades. The device can be bought via Amazon India, Mi.com, and other retail stores from January 9. One can avail a bank discount of up to Rs 3,000.
The Redmi Note 15 5G sports a 6.77-inch full-HD+ Resolution AMOLED Display with a Refresh Rate of 120Hz, 12-bit colours, 3200 nits peak brightness, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and HDR10+ support.
The device is equipped with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC under the hood, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is also expandable up to 1TB.
The Redmi Note 15 5G features a dual rear camera setup with a 108MP f/1.8 Samaung ISOCELL HM9 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera. The smartphone also has a 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera. The Note 15 5G packs a 5520mAh battery and comes with 45W Fast charging support and 18W reverse wired charging as well.
Additional features include an IR Blaster and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB-C port for charging. The device runs on Hyper OS 2 based on Android 15 and will receive the Hyper OS 3 update soon. There’s an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for security while the handset is IP65 + IP66 rated as well.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Pad 2 Pro 5G: Price, Availability, Specifications
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is priced at Rs 24,999 for the single 8GB + 128GB model, while the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G costs Rs 27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 29,999. It will be available for purchase via Amazon, Mi.com, Xiaomi retail and other offline stores starting from January 12th. The Pad 2 Pro 5G will be available on Flipkart. The Pad 2 Pro cover Rs 1,499 while the Smart Pen costs Rs 3,999. These will also be available via the same retail platforms as the tablet.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro sports an 12.1-inch (2560 x 1600 pixels) 16:10 LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 249 ppi, Dolby Vision, Wet Touch technology, and up to 600 nits HBM brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 2TB.
There’s an 8MP f/2.0 camera sensor on the back and an 8MP f/2.2 sensor on the front. It draws power from a 12,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. It also runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Then you get quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones as well.
For connectivity, you get optional 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.4, IPv6, and a USB-C port for charging. Advanced users can also buy the Redmi Smart Pen and Redmi Pad 2 Pro keyboard for their respective use cases.
