Redmi Note 11 Pro+ tipped to arrive in India as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series in China yesterday, and today we already have rumors about the phones’ arrival in international markets. And as Xiaomi often does it will rename the phones in the new market.

According to one Twitter tipster, the Redmi Note 11 Pro will be called Xiaomi 11i in India, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is going to be known as Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Yes, really.

The upcoming Redmi Note 11 Pro or Xiaomi 11i in India is different from the already announced Xiaomi Mi 11i. The global Mi 11i is sold as Mi 11X Pro in India, the regular Mi 11X is also know as Poco F3 in some other markets.

Confused enough? Good, because let’s not forget that all these phones were initially launched as Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro.

So the 11i HyperCharge name might bring the best of both worlds – being both weird sounding and causing misunderstandings.

Previously we heard Redmi Note 11 might also be identical to the upcoming Poco M4 Pro and with the lineup just starting its international rollout we should probably prepare for more of those rebrandings making next to no sense.
