Redmi K40 Gaming Edition teased with impressive AnTuTu score

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch yet another phone from the Redmi K40 family but this time it’s going to be gaming-centric. A handful of teasers in the past have revealed some of the key specs, including a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.

Now yet another teaser gives us a hint of the performance too. In an AnTuTu 9 benchmark test, the device scored an impressive 724,495 points, which is just above the Snapdragon 870 we tested on the OnePlus 9R and the vivo X60 Pro. The latter achieved 720,352 points overall.

In addition to the Dimensity 1200 SoC, the gaming-focused K40 will offer a 120Hz display with 300Hz touch sampling rate and pop-up shoulder triggers. The handset will be announced in just a couple of days but odds are we will have to wait a bit longer for info on global availability as the announcement will be for the Chinese market.
