Realme XT appears in its first official render

When the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro were introduced to the world with 12 MP and 48 Mp cameras, respectively, company executives promised on stage the 64 MP phone will arrive “when September ends” under the name Realme XT.

Now, Xu Qi Chase, CMO at Realme, posted the first official teaser of the phone. Unsurprisingly, it looks pretty much the same as the Realme 5 family with its four-cam vertical setup but will arrive in a pretty Snow White color.

One big thing that is missing from the back panel is the fingerprint scanner. The Realme XT is expected to have an optical sensor under the display, meaning it will come with an OLED panel. If it comes with this solution, it will stay true to its X family, since the Realme X pioneered the technology.

About the 64 MP camera, we already had our hands-on experience at a dedicated event in New Delhi, India. The device is equipped with Samsung’s latest ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor and is coupled with an ultra-wide-angle shooter, macro lens and a depth sensor.

The only thing missing from this phone is a telephoto lens, but Madhav Sheth already dismissed the feature, so it is highly unlikely to have a dedicated camera for zooming in the foreseeable future.
