Realme X50 5G gets certified in China, specs get teased

Realme’s upcoming X50 smartphone will be its first to have 5G connectivity. Today it has gathered approval by another authority, suggesting we are very close to its actual market launch.

The smartphone with model number RMX2051 was certified at MIIT China (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), and a trustful source confirmed this is indeed the Realme X50. He also claimed the phone will have a 6.6” LCD panel and Snapdragon 765G chipset, among other specs.

The Chinese leakster usually knows what he is talking about, and this time he says the camera of the Realme X50 will be Sony’s 64 MP IMX686 sensor. We also expect to see 30W fast charging.

The Realme X50 5G will try to compete with the Redmi K30 5G on the domestic market. It remains to be seen when exactly it will come to the market though and how the two will compare price-wise.
