Realme X50 5G full specs revealed by TENAA, C3 bags NBTC certification

The Realme X50 5G arriving on January 7 recently bagged TENAA certification, revealing the phone’s display size and battery capacity in the process. But now the TENAA listing has been updated to reveal the complete specs sheet.

According to TENAA, the X50 5G will sport a 6.57″ FHD+ TFT display, meaning no in-screen fingerprint scanner. The listing does mention under-display fingerprint reader, but that’s likely a mistake since the official images previously shared by Realme confirmed the phone will come with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Snapdragon 765G-powered X50 5G will come with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM with three storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The smartphone won’t come with a microSD card slot, though, making it the third Realme smartphone in the X series after the vanilla X and X2 Pro to not have this feature.

The Realme X50 5G will boot Android 10 and pack a 4,100 mAh battery, which the company previously claimed will offer over two days of endurance and support enhanced VOOC 4.0 fast charging.

For photography, Realme has confirmed that X50 5G will come with a total of six cameras – two on the front and four at the back. Now the TENAA listing reveals that the dual camera setup on the front will comprise 16MP and 8MP units, while the quad camera setup on the back will be a combination of 64MP, 12MP, 8MP, and 2MP modules.

Lastly, TENAA reveals the X50 5G will be 8.9mm thick, weigh 202 grams, and come in four colors – Blue, Purple, Black, and Gold.

While Realme is only expected to unveil the X50 5G and a Lite variant on January 7, the company will likely announce the Realme C3 thereafter since it has received certification from Thailand’s NBTC. Not much is known about it right now, but more details should surface in the coming weeks.
