The Realme X2 Pro launched in India last month is currently available in the country in two memory versions – 8GB/128GB priced at INR29,999 ($420/380) and 12GB/256GB that costs INR33,999 ($480/430). Now the company’s Indian CEO Madhav Sheth has announced that a new variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage will arrive soon in the country.
Sheth didn’t say when the 6GB model will go on sale in India, but he did reveal that it will cost INR27,999 ($395/355) in the country.
The X2 Pro is the company’s first proper flagship that has a Snapdragon 855+ SoC at the helm. It runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 out of the box and boasts a 6.5″ FHD+ Super AMOLED display having a 90Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric security.

For photography, the X2 Pro has a 16MP selfie snapper on the front and a 64MP main camera at the back joined by a 13MP telephoto, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensor units.
That said, one of the headline features of the Realme X2 Pro is the 50W SuperVOOC fast charging, which juices up the phone’s 4,000 mAh battery from flat to 100% in 30 minutes as opposed to the 35 minutes advertised by the company.
