Realme sells 50,000 units in China on the first day of availability for the Q3 and Q3 Pro

Realme announced that it has sold over 50,000 units of its new Q3 series. The Realme Q3 5G and Q3 Pro 5G went on sale today and presumably made up a big chunk of that. The third member of the series, the Realme Q3i 5G, became available a week ago, just hours after the Q3 series was unveiled.

The affordable line of 5G phones starts at CNY 1,000. That price is for the Q3i and it includes a temporary discount of CNY 100, which will end a week from now. The Q3 5G and Q3 Pro 5G offer higher end chipsets, 120Hz displays, better cameras and faster charging for not much more money (CNY 1,300 and CNY 1,600, respectively).

The three models are still available on the company’s official site, though you may have to wait a couple of days before a unit is sent out to you. JD seems to be out of stock, though.

Realme Q3 series sales reach 50,000+ units

By the way, those 50,000 units are a small chunk of the 1 million sales that the previous generation, the Q2 phones, managed in the first 6 months of availability. And note that these numbers are for sales in China only.

Will we ever see these available outside of China? Yes, one is already here – the Realme 8 5G is the same and the Q3i. A similar thing happened with the previous generation, e.g. the Realme Q2 was renamed Realme 7 5G in the West and Narzo 30 Pro 5G in India.
