After debuting in China in the early days of January and later at MWC Barcelona for global markets Realme GT2 series is now ready to launch in India. The brand’s official Twitter handle confirmed the GT2 series is launching on April 7 at 12:30 noon IST time.

Realme actually hid the tweet a short while after posting so it remains to be seen if there’s a change to the launch details. The image only mentioned the GT2 Pro so it remains to be seen if the vanilla Realme GT2 will also be announced for India. Realme GT2 Pro features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.7-inch LTPO2 AMOLED display and a 50MP main cam.

The vanilla GT2 settles for last year’s Snapdragon 888 and a 6.62-inch AMOLED with the same 50MP main cam. Both phones bring 5,000 mAh batteries with 65W charging and the green and white colors get exclusive bio-based polymer backs with paper-like texture.
