Realme’s upcoming global version of the GT2 Pro has been very very busy lately, getting certified by NBTC in Thailand, listed by Google Play console, and benchmarked on Geekbench. All of these moves reveal the fact that its international launch is right around the corner, following its initial unveiling for the Chinese market earlier this month.
The GT2 Pro for global markets will have the model number RMX3301, as confirmed again today by the NBTC certification. Its listing in Google Play console further cements an international release (not that that was in any doubt, after all Realme’s head honcho himself announced this a while back).
Finally, the Geekbench run of an RMX3301 prototype reveals that, like its meant-for-China sibling, the international GT2 Pro will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It will likewise run Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top from day one. The prototype that was benchmarked had 12GB of RAM, but there may be a version with 8GB too – that’s the case in China at least. Hopefully Realme gets round to the official launch soon.
In the meantime, while we wait for that, let’s recap some specs, so you know what to expect. The GT2 Pro was billed Realme’s first ever proper flagship device, and it comes with a 6.7-inch 1440×3216 120Hz AMOLED touchscreen, 128/256/512GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with 150-degree field-of-view, 3 MP microscope with 40x magnification), a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W charging (zero to 100% advertised to take just 33 minutes).
