Last month, Mr. Madhav Sheth – VP of Realme and CEO of Realme India, Europe, and Latin America – confirmed that the GT Neo2 will launch in India in October. Today, the company announced that the GT Neo2 will debut in the brand’s biggest market on October 13. The launch event will begin at 12:30PM local time and be live-streamed on Realme’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.
Realme’s touting the GT Neo2 as a “neo flagship killer” and a “premium mid-range” smartphone, featuring a Snapdragon 870 SoC, a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display, and 65W charging. And since we haven’t heard any rumors of the GT Neo2 launching with different specifications in India, the screen will have a diagonal of 6.62″ with FullHD+ resolution, with a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood fueling the entire package.
The rest of the specs include up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 64MP triple camera, 16MP selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and NFC.
Realme GT Neo2 will be available in all three colors in India
The GT Neo2 runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box in China, but the global model will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 instead, making it the first smartphone to run Realme’s newest custom Android skin and the latest version of Android out of the box.
The GT Neo2 is also expected to arrive in Europe, but we don’t have an official confirmation on the launch yet.
