Realme’s upcoming GT Neo 5 has been leaking a lot lately, ahead of what could be an official introduction at MWC in Barcelona next month. The phone is officially confirmed to be the first one to sport 240W fast wired charging, and according to various leaks it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
A prototype GT Neo 5 has allegedly been spotted in the Geekbench online database today, achieving a 1,279 single-core score and a 3,902 multi-core score.
The prototype in question has 16GB of RAM on board, and runs Android 13, unsurprisingly. Its model number is RMX3708, and the motherboard mentioned in the benchmark could be associated with the aforementioned Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Now that prototypes are being benchmarked in the open like this, the official launch can’t be far behind. The Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to sport a 6.74-inch 1240×2772 AMOLED screen, a 50 MP main camera flanked by an 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP decorative sensor of some sort, a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,600 mAh battery in the 240W version. Another iteration will pair a 5,000 mAh cell with ‘just’ 150W charging, apparently.
