The Realme GT 5G arriving on March 4 has appeared on Geekbench with Android 11 and 12GB RAM, corroborating previous rumors.
The GT 5G, bearing model code RMX2202, has “lahaina” listed in the motherboard section, which is associated with the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The benchmark database doesn’t include any other specs of the GT 5G, although Realme previously confirmed the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 64MP triple camera.
It will also pack a Samsung-made 120Hz Super AMOLED screen having a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the selfie unit and an in-display fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication.
Earlier today, Realme VP Mr. Xu Qi Chase said the GT 5G will have Dolby Atmos and stereo speakers onboard.
Previously shared posters revealed the design of the GT 5G and confirmed it will come in glass back and leather variants. Now we are looking at an image of the GT 5G’s retail box that surfaced on Weibo. Its design similar to the Realme X7 Pro’s package, except that it’s black in color and not silver.
The GT 5G will be priced below CNY2,999 ($460/€385), and with the official unveiling less than a week away, you can expect Realme to post more teasers to build hype around its flagship.
