We attended a group media interview session after the event where Realme VP and head of Realme International Business Group Madhav Sheth revealed some more details about upcoming Realme products and developments.

We got confirmation that Realme GT Neo3 will launch in the second half of this year with 150W UltraDart charging capabilities. GT Neo3 will be one of the first phones powered by MediaTek’s brand new Dimensity 8100 chipset.

Realme is also working on a phone with an under-display camera which will be released sometime in H2. The executive shared that Realme is openly experimenting with different smartphone form factors including foldable phones. Unfortunately, we don’t get a set time frame for the foldable’s commercial release.

Realme’s MagDart magnetic charging system is still due to launch though it is being optimized as the current versions involve too several compromises for users. The key constraint is the available space inside MagDart compatible phones which results in phones that are too thick or have small battery capacities.
