Realme Buds Q2 to retain design, have similar battery capacity

Realme brought the Buds Q wireless earphones as a more elegant solution and an alternative to the Buds Air series. The first Realme Buds Q arrived with a 40 mAh battery in each bud, and now the successor Buds Q2 was certified by FCC, revealing the buds will inherit the capacity and the overall design.

The FCC listing has the marketing name, as well as the model number RMA2008, but interestingly enough, it doesn’t have any info about the capacity of the case. The initial Buds Q brought 400 mAh total capacity, and hopefully, the Buds Q2 will bring some more.

Design-wise, the new TWS buds will be slightly different with the outer mic making its way on the rim, instead of being part of the central circle with the Realme logo. Hopefully, the Buds Q2 will bring improvements like a proper sturdy hinge and USB-C charging, as well as some sort of wireless charging capabilities.
