Realme 16 Pro 5G series launch was confirmed a while back for January 6 and now, the brand has revealed the key specifications of the Pro+ model in the series. The device is set to come with a Snapdragon chip, a 200MP periscope camera, and more. Here’s what has been confirmed.
Realme 16 Pro+ 5G Details
Realme 16 Pro+ will have a design similar to that of the Pro model itself but with a curved frame and different colour options, as revealed through a Flipkart microsite. It will come in India in Master Gold and Master Grey hues. The handset will get a quad-curved AMOLED Display with 6500 nits of peak brightness and a 4608Hz PWM dimming. The handset will be backed by a 7000mAh Titan battery with 80W fast wired charging.
The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It will be paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM, which is claimed to deliver up to 8,400Mbps peak read and write speed. The handset will also come with 512GB of in-built storage. The phone is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated also. There will be a stereo speaker setup while the device will run on Android 16-based Realme UI 7. It will get 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.

Realme 16 Pro 5G Details

The Pro model in the Realme 16 Pro 5G series is set to inherit the primary camera hardware from the Pro+ model, featuring a 200MP LumaColor camera powered by Samsung’s HP5 flagship sensor. The setup supports Super OIS and full-pixel auto zoom, enabling 1x, 2x and 4x lossless zoom, along with a HyperRAW algorithm for improved dynamic range.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset, with realme claiming an AnTuTu score of over 970,000. Thermal performance is managed using an AirFlow VC cooling system. A major upgrade this year is the inclusion of a 7,000mAh Titan Battery, paired with an AI Long-life Battery chip and Super Power Saving Mode, while still maintaining a slim design.
On the front, the Realme 16 Pro features a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, support for 1.07 billion colours and a peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits. Design-wise, the device has the same camera module as the Pro+ model but gets a flat frame and will come in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and Orchid Purple colours. The device will be IP69 rated also. Software-wise, it will run on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16.
