Realme’s upcoming GT 5G flagship is arriving next week and we’re familiar with most of its key specs. This will be the brand’s first Snapdragon 888 powered device and it’s Racing Yellow (aka Bumblebee leather) variant appeared in a new teaser video. We can see the back sports textured yellow leather-like material while the area below the camera cutout is made from ridged plastic
Realme VP Xu Qi Chase also confirmed the GT 5G will be equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage. In terms of dimensions, the phone will be 8.6mm thick and weigh 186 grams.

We also get out a hint about pricing through a separate Weibo post suggesting the GT 5G will go for the same amount as the realme X50 Pro, or around CNY 3,599 ($555) for the base 8/128GB trim.

This is notably lower than other Snapdragon 888-powered devices like the Xiaomi Mi 11 (CNY3,999/$610) and vivo’s X60 Pro+ (CNY 5,000/$775)and iQOO 7 (CNY 3,798/$586). Realme have always tried to offer the most competitive pricing with their devices but we’ll have to wait for next week’s event to get the actual figure.
