We found the Occer 12x25 a little too soft, they folded even with the slightest pressure applied.

If you always find yourself wanting a better look at the action in front of you, whether that is the beautiful stars overhead, the winning touchdown at a sports event or a rare bird while out in the forest, compact binoculars are handy to have just in case. The Occer 12×25 compact binoculars are super small and weigh a meager 8.8 oz (249 g), making them perfect for taking with you anywhere.

For a tiny pair of optics, they offer a strong 12x magnification, which is more than ample for getting you further up close to your subject. The 25mm objective lenses will make images a bit darker than the naked eye, but for this value, we can’t really argue. They come with a carry case, neck strap and cleaning cloth so you don’t have to mess about finding additional accessories when you want to take them out and about.

They offered fairly bright and colorful views for their given specs and seemed to be sealed nicely against splashes. They aren’t fully waterproof but they do seem to be water-resistant, which is a nice touch if you are planning to take them out during wet weather. We gave them three and a half stars in our Occer 12×25 compact binoculars review, for the fact that they offer a pretty good observing experience for their extremely tiny size. With almost 50% off their retail price, the value of this model has increased massively. They are some of the best compact binoculars we recommend at this price point. ✅ Buy it if: You want a casual pair of high-magnification binoculars that you can take everywhere without weighing you down.

❌ Don’t buy it if: You need really bright images of your subjects. Going for a model with larger objective lenses will be much better for brighter images, such as the affordable Celestron Nature DX 12×56, also on sale for Cyber Monday.
