Today OnePlus has released the latest software update for the 8T, its current-gen flagship killer device. The new software is OxygenOS 11.0.4.5, which is starting to roll out in India today, and will make it to Europe and North America sometime soon. As usual with OnePlus releases, the over-the-air update will reach a small percentage of users today, with a broader rollout expected to follow within a few days.
OxygenOS 11.0.4.5 for the OnePlus 8T brings with it no less than 11 different fixes for the phone’s software experience. Call stability, system power consumption, mis-touch prevention, fluidity in games, the shooting experience in the Camera app, camera stability, mobile network connections – all of these have been improved.
Additionally, a small probability issue with network interruption occurring while playing games has been fixed, as has been the issue with NFC not turning on under specific conditions, and the hovering status bar in landscape mode is gone now too. Finally, the Alert Slider user experience has been improved by having toast messages show up when switching among its modes.
