The Oppo Reno6 series is inching closer, and today a leakster from China revealed the alleged specs of the Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ smartphones. According to the source, the non-Plus phone will sport a Dimensity 1200 chipset, while the most premium member of the lineup will run on Snapdragon 870.
The rest of the specifications look like the Reno5 Pro and Reno5 Pro+ sheets with minor changes in the body and battery capacity.

The screen’s technology is not mentioned, but a Super AMOLED is a safe bet, given the fact the previous two Reno series also had such displays. The cameras are also borrowed from the previous Reno5 phones, while the Reno6 Pro will now have a 4,500 mAh cell inside rather than the 4,350 mAh its predecessor launched with.
The Reno series is Oppo’s midrange lineup and the company has been updating it twice per year six months. This might seem like a short period, but the strategy has helped the company become the fourth biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world and #1 in China.
