Oppo Reno10 Pro+ schematics reveal new design

Oppo Reno10 Pro+

The Reno9 phones were announced in China in late November, and the company is already working on the next series, Reno10. The leakster Digital Chat Station posted the schematics of a smartphone, claiming to be the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ – the mightiest of the eventual lineup.

The image, if true, reveals the Oppo midranger series will have a smartphone with a periscope lens, while the overall design will move away from the square-ish island in the top left corner.

The image reveals a flat screen with a single punch hole for the selfie camera. On the back, there are three cameras on an oval island – two shooters with standard lenses and one with a periscope on the bottom, right next to the blurred “Powered by MariSilicon” branding.

Recent Reno smartphones have been skipping the proper telephoto camera in order to keep pricing low. We might see Oppo keep the situation that way if, behind the square, there is nothing more but a mere 2 MP macro sensor – just like what Xiaomi did with the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro.

The Reno series launch in a span of five-six months, meaning we are not going to see the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ earlier than April. There is enough time to learn whether this image holds truth or is just a piece of the leakster’s imagination.
