There’s a growing consensus that the upcoming Oppo Find N3 and OnePlus Open are going to bring the same hardware to different markets – the Find N3 a Chinese exclusive, while the OnePlus Open a global foldable. Going by that the display specs should be identical between the two phones.
And now courtesy of Digital Chat Station we know what they are. He says the Oppo Find N3 will have sharper screens than the Galaxy Z Fold5. The inner display is reportedly a 7.82-inch 2268x2440px panel, while the cover screen is a 6.31-inch 2484x1116px unit with a traditional 20:9 aspect. That means the inner screen will have a density of 426ppi, while the outer one will reach 431ppi.
For reference the Galaxy Z Fold5’s inner display is a 7.6-inch 1812x2176px panel with around 373ppi, while the cover screen is a 6.2-inch 904x2316px 23.1:9 panel with around 401ppi. So in theory, the Oppo Find N3 (possibly also the OnePlus Open) has bigger and sharper screens on both sides.
Digital Chat Station goes on to say that there will be a version with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and that even a version with 24GB of RAM is under consideration.
Turning to the OnePlus Open for a second, per Max Jambor, it will come in two colors – Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse.
#OnePlusOpen might be the first real globally available competitor to Samsungs newly launched #GalaxyZFold5 – the new performance beast will be available in two colors: Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse
