Oppo A91 and A8 debut with MediaTek chipsets, ColorOS 6.1 and affordable pricing

Earlier today, Oppo unveiled the latest entrants to its affordable A-series – the A91 and A8. Both aim to deliver great bang for your buck by offering mid-range specs at aggressive prices. They will be launching in China initially, and we are yet to hear if other markets will get them and when.

Oppo A91

The Oppo A91 gets you a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and small waterdrop notch up top for the 16 MP selfie cam. Oppo outfitted the device with an in-display fingerprint reader.

Around the back, there’s a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter, 8MP ultrawide cam, a 2MP macro snapper and 2MP depth helper.
