OnePlus Nord N20 5G stars in a series of renders, key specs revealed

Following the OnePlus 10 Pro renders from earlier today, we now have a set of high-quality Nord N20 5G images and some key specs of the upcoming mid-ranger. The new design is an interesting departure from OnePlus’ typical design language while the hardware poses a small upgrade over the predecessor.

The new chassis is blocky, not oval, and the flat sides resemble iPhone 13’s aluminum edges. The back design has also changed and instead of a camera island, the handset gets three isolated camera lenses.

Moving on to the specs – the chipset is upgraded to a Snapdragon 695 5G, the display is now a 6.43-inch AMOLED with the fingerprint reader underneath it.

The camera setup on the back has changed too, but it’s not looking like an upgrade at all. The main 64MP camera from the Nord N10 5G has been swapped for a 48MP one while the two other sensors are reportedly 2MP – one for depth sensing while the other is for macro photography. The front keeps the 16MP selfie shooter. The N10 had an ultrawide camera instead of the 2MP depth sensor.

There’s still time before the Nord N20 5G makes it to the market so we need to wait some more before we can put all the pieces together.
