The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will arrive on February 17, we learned earlier today. Multiple sources claimed it will be a minor update over the previous Nord CE, and today a leakster revealed an even more detailed specs sheet.
Alongside that the source confirmed the upcoming smartphone will get two major Android updates and three years of security updates but will launch with Android 11 out of the box.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE • Oppo Reno7 SE 5G
The Nord CE 2 is going to inherit the 6.43” display from the predecessor, as well as the 4,500 mAh battery. However, since the Dimensity 900 chipset supports faster charging rates, the new phone will offer 65W SuperVOOC. This would make the device just a tad heavier – 173 grams, but OnePlus will manage to keep a thin body with a 7.8 mm profile.
Other features confirmed by the new leak are the 64MP main camera, the 16MP selfie shooter and the Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the AMOLED panel. Prices are expected to be anywhere between INR24,000 ($315/€280) and INR28,000 ($370/€325), but we’ll know the exact numbers next Thursday after the launch.
